The Glass Cathedral (today Kristall-Glasfabrik Amberg GmbH), built between 1968 and 1970 in Amberg, is the only building by Walter Gropius in the Upper Palatinate. It is also the last project by this architect with global reach and founder of the Bauhaus.

In the exhibition space in the Glass Cathedral, visitors experience a moderated multimedia show. This is a journey from the beginnings of the Glass Cathedral in the 1960’s to the present.
